In the first of four 2003 seminars sponsored by the Teaching and Learning with Technology Roundtable, Dr. Gundars Kaupins from the Department of Management presented "Creating a Comprehensive Web Site for Majors."

Websites for majors can provide comprehensive links for students, faculty, staff and the community. This presentation summarizes many categories of links faculty can produce to create useful sites for majors. Dr. Kaupins has created a web site for human-resources majors that contains elements potentially beneficial for inclusion in other web sites for majors at Boise State.

Drawing upon this web site, Dr. Kaupins discusses the five crucial elements of a web site for majors and provides tips, techniques, and strategies for making a web site for majors useful, accessible, and comprehensive. In addition, Dr. Kaupins provides a framework of a web site that can be adapted for any particular major.
