Please read the Online Testing Center's Policy on Student Conduct before scheduling your exam
The Online Testing Center
has a strict policy on student conduct. To protect the integrity of exams as
well as the integrity of students, we expect all students to be familiar
with the Student Code of Conduct,
in addition to a few other policies set forth by the Online Testing Center. Be sure to check the White Board located in the testing lab for any updated policys.
All electronic devices
should be turned OFF before entering the Online Testing Center. If a student
operates an electronic device at any time during an exam, for any reason,
the device will be confiscated (for example, if your cell phone rings and
you must be reminded to turn it off, the phone will be confiscated).
Only materials authorized by
your course instructor will be allowed on the desktop next to the computer
you are using. All other materials should be placed on the floor. Do not bring your own scratch paper. Aurthorized scratch
paper is provided by the Online Testing center and may be used for any test. You may not write on the scratch paper untill you have begun the exam.
If you need a piece of scratch paper, you must give the Proctor you ID in exchange.
In addition, any authorized notes used
during the exam will be collected by the Proctor.
Communication with anyone
other than the Proctor is strictly prohibited! If you converse with anyone
other than the Proctor at any time during your exam, you will be asked to
submit your exam and exit the Online Testing Center immediately
You must begin your exam immediately, once you begin and exam you must complete it. You can not leave and then return to finish the exam. All exams must be submitted at closing time. It is the student's responsibility to allot enough time to finish their exam. If you miss your appointment by more than 10 min you no longer have an appointment and must reschedule your exam or come in as a walk in. However some instructors do not allow students to walk in. As a walk in you will have to wait for an avaliable computer. If you walk in during the last few hours exam there is no guarantee that a computer will be avaliable.
