Online Ordering System

You can use the Online Ordering System to order a variety of media and technology services and projects and to track the status of your request. Please note, however, that you cannot use the Online Ordering System to request such things as data projectors, VCRs, or digital cameras; to request such equipment, please call extension 3286.

Blackboard Online Instruction -  Assistance with designing/organizing your Blackboard course site and converting existing materials for use on your site

Graphics and Classroom Presentation Media -  Graphic design and production for web sites, classroom presentations, and other teaching and learning applications, and production of other materials for use in the classroom. NOTE: The quality of graphics and photographs will be optimized for a particular use (e.g., a web site or a PowerPoint presentation) and may not be suitable for other uses.

Audio-Video (AV) Production -  Recording, filming, capture, editing, and production of audio and video projects for web delivery, CD or DVD, tape, or television broadcast

Web and Interactive Resource Development -  Design and development of academic and instructional web pages, database applications, and interactive, multimedia teaching resources

Telecommunications -  Video/teleconferencing and assistance with various other telecommunications technologies for academic purposes

Training and Consulting -  Consulting on instructional design and student media assignments, research, and in-class digital projects software demonstrations and tutorials

  • Instructional Design Consulting
    Consulting on instructional strategies, methods, and ideas for teaching online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses

  • Online Research
    Internet-based research for retrieving websites and links to other resources

  • Digital Projects Software Training
    Individualized faculty training in the use of software used to create instructional materials and training for student groups on software for digital projects

  • Technical Documentation
    Design and development of documentation related to technology, including job aids for using particular equipment and instructions for students given assignments involving technology

  • Consulting on Student Media Assignments
    Consultation on creating and managing student projects that include a media component, such as web pages, PowerPoint presentations, and digital video,including assistance with software selection
