Qualtrics @ Boise State University

Free Web-Based Survey Software for Faculty, Staff, and Students

The Division of Research Administration, with Academic Technologies and the Center for Teaching and Learning, is pleased to make Qualtrics survey software available to support research, teaching and administrative uses.

Qualtrics was selected by a group of faculty and staff because it combines exceptional ease of use with an advanced set of features. Some of the new capabilities include....

  • a wizard to build surveys with no prior training,
  • dozens of sample surveys on various topics to customize for your own use,
  • built-in invitation email sending and tracking that will automatically send reminder emails,
  • built in graphics and statistical tools
  • ability to download data into Excel or SPSS with the full syntax retained.

If you already have an account

Note: Everyone who registers with a Boise State email address receives the default level of access. This limits the number of responses to 500, the number of active surveys to 3, and overall total surveys to 15. Faculty and staff, or students working for faculty and staff, may request unlimited access. Email the Brand Administrator, Rob Anson, with your request.
