On January 28, 2002, Donna Vakili (College of Education) and Linda Huglin (College of Engineering) spoke to approximately 30 faculty and staff members about assessment in an online learning environment. The TLTR has archived a copy of their PowerPoint slides, along with a transcript of their remarks.

Notes on Viewing the PowerPoint Presentation

The presentation runs in a new browser window. To return to this page, close the new window.

To move from slide to slide, click on the arrows at the bottom of the screen or select a particular slide from the list of slides in the left-hand frame.

If you navigate with the BACK or FORWARD buttons of your web browser, the center frame may not refresh; instead, it will display a solid black background. To refresh the frame, Windows users should right-click in the frame and select REFRESH from the pop-up menu; Mac users should press the CONTROL key while clicking in the frame, then select REFRESH from the pop-up menu.

All frames can be resized by hovering the cursor over a frame edge. When the cursor changes to an arrow, drag the edge of the frame to resize it.
