Description:

Partnering with refugees and refugee-centered organizations provides unique opportunities for service-learning, research, and grant funding. Come discuss ideas directly with the directors of three refugee organizations, their full-time grant writer/financial officer, and their executive directors.

  • Brainstorm possible collaborations
  • Hear how other faculty engage with refugee issues
  • Explore possible research and funding opportunities
The focus will be on both short-and long-term collaborations, special considerations, and potential benefits to faculty, students, refugees, organizations, and the university. If you cannot stay for the whole session, feel free to come for as long as you can.
