Did you know that you can personalize the Blackboard Welcome page—the “My Boise State” page that displays after you first log into Blackboard? You can choose which modules are displayed and their layout, and you can define which course sites are displayed in the “My Courses” module. To personalize your “My Boise State” page, log into Blackboard and do the following:

Customizing the “My Boise State” Page Contents

1. On the “My Boise State” page, click Contents to the right of the screen.
2. Select the modules you want to display.
3. Clear boxes for the modules your want to remove.
4. Click Submit.
   NOTE: The two modules with red check marks cannot be modified.

Customizing Your “My Boise State” Page Layout

1. On your “My Boise State” page, click Layout to the right of the screen.
2. Click on a module in either the right-hand column or the left-hand column.
3. Use the arrow keys to move the module from one column to the other or to move it up or down in the column. Click the X icon to remove the module from the page. Repeat as necessary for other modules.
4. Select a color scheme for the page.
5. Click Submit.

Modifying Your “My Courses” List

1. On the “My Boise State” page, click the pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner of the My Courses module. A list of courses you are teaching or are enrolled in will appear.
2. Clear the check mark for any course you do not want displayed in the My Courses module.
3. Click Submit.
   NOTE: This procedure does NOT remove the course from Blackboard. It only removes the name of the course from the “My Courses” list.
